Privacy on this website
This page covers etapo.app and its waiting list. It is short because the website collects very little.
Who we are
Etapo is operated by Fig Royale Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12465445), with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. Fig Royale Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to us at privacy@etapo.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waiting list.
- One optional answer: whether you are planning your own event or events for clients.
- The date you joined, and a short label naming where the link you followed came from, when that link carried one (for example the name of an advertisement or a post; a word, never a number that identifies you).
That is all. This website sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Like every web server, our website host processes your internet address and browser details for a short time to deliver the page and keep it secure; we do not add them to the waiting list. To stop automated sign-ups, the list keeps a scrambled mark of the connection a sign-up came from for up to two days; it cannot be turned back into an internet address without a key that only we hold.
Why, and on what basis
We use your address for one thing: to tell you when a place in the Etapo preview opens for you. The optional answer helps us decide who to invite to each preview group. The basis is your consent, which you give by joining the list and can withdraw at any time. The two-day mark that stops automated sign-ups rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
We do not sell the list, share it with advertisers, or send it to an advertising service. Joining the waiting list does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Where it is kept, and who handles it
The waiting list is stored in our database in the European Union (Ireland). Three service providers handle it on our behalf: the company that hosts this website, the company that runs our database, and the email service that sends us a short note when someone joins (that note goes to us, never to you). The website host does not keep the list; like any host it keeps short-lived request logs. Hosting providers may process requests on infrastructure outside the United Kingdom and the European Union; where that happens it is covered by the transfer safeguards the law requires. Ask us and we will tell you who they are.
How long we keep it
Until you ask to be removed, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the day you joined.
Your choices
Write to privacy@etapo.app from the address you joined with and we will remove you, or tell you what we hold, or correct it. We answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom, or to the data protection authority where you live.
The app itself
Etapo, the event design and planning workspace, is an early build and is not publicly available. It will carry its own privacy policy when the preview opens, and you will see it before you create an account.
